TOP1000 Taiwanese Corporations in ASEAN

In view of the New Southbound Policy initiated in 2016, CRIF CCIS started planning the survey of Taiwanese corporations in ASEAN with revenues of TWD 100 million (around USD 3 million) based on the experience in conducting the survey of TOP1000 Taiwanese Corporations in Mainland China to understand the current investment and development of the Taiwanese corporations in ASEAN systematically.

CRIF CCIS has observed the global layout of group enterprises by doing a research into group enterprises for a long time. In addition to Taiwanese enterprises in Mainland China, CRIF CCIS' survey covers other places in the world. CRIF CCIS started the “analysis of the global investment and operation of the top 250 groups” for the Investment Commission, Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2006. In view of the New Southbound Policy initiated in 2016, CRIF CCIS started planning the survey of Taiwanese corporations in ASEAN with revenues of TWD 100 million (around USD 3 million) based on the experience in conducting the survey of TOP1000 Taiwanese Corporations in Mainland China to understand the current investment and development of the Taiwanese corporations in ASEAN systematically.

With the resources from the subsidiaries of CRIF in ASEAN, CRIF CCIS started the survey of Taiwanese corporations in ASEAN in 2018 and published the “TOP500 Taiwanese Corporations in ASEAN” for the first time. It extended the survey scope from the 10 ASEAN countries to India, Australia and New Zealand in 2019 and published the “TOP1000 Taiwanese Corporations in ASEAN” for the first time, demonstrating its ability to conduct international survey. The Commercial Times entrusted CRIF CCIS to conduct the survey of “TOP1000 Taiwanese Corporations in ASEAN” in 2020, and the Commercial Times published the special edition of “2020 TOP1000 Taiwanese Corporations in ASEAN”. They continue to work on such survey in 2021.

Basic informationincludes Chinese and English company names, country, address, date of establishment, telephone number, fax number, chairperson, general manager, business activity, industry and parent group.
